I'm a bride on a budget. How much will my gown cost me?
We strongly believe that you do not need to spend a fortune on your dream dress. We stock wedding gowns from $700-$1900, and we have an entire section of sample sale gowns that can be purchased off the rack at a huge discount. We also have informal wedding dresses that are similar to bridesmaid dress pricing. There is also no sales tax on the gowns in Vermont! All sales are final.
Do I need to schedule an appointment?
Although we do not require appointments, it is highly recommended for wedding gown shopping. Walk-ins are not guaranteed dressing rooms, or personalized service by our stylists. We do not require appointments for prom, bridesmaids, or tuxedo rentals. Please keep in mind that Saturdays are our busiest day and there may be a wait time for dressing rooms during prom season. Bridal appointments will always have a reserved dressing room.
How long are the appointments?
We try not to keep a strict time limit, but in the event we book up we leave at least an hour and a half for each appointment. Weekends are busier, so if you prefer a longer appointment during the week is best.
Do you carry plus sizes
Yes we do. We carry samples up to a size 28 and most designs are orderable up to a size 30. For more information on our plus size wedding gowns visit our plus size wedding gown page under bridal above.
Who should I bring?
We find the brides who are most successful and have the most fun bring a smaller number of people. Our boutique has limited space, and we book multiple appointments at the same time so comfortably we can fit 3-4 guests with you. We won't turn you away if you bring more, but you may not have as relaxed of an experience if you bring a lot of guests.
Do you offer alterations?
We do not offer alterations as one of our services, however we keep a list of local seamstresses to recommend to, many of whom see our gowns frequently.
